Your 5-point Q2 marketing audit checklist

With Q1 complete, and the Easter break nearly over, things are about to ramp up again for a lot of businesses across the property industry.

Before getting swept up in what’s next, now is a good time to take a step back and sense check what you’ve already got in place when it comes to your digital marketing.

Here’s where we’d start 👇
𝟭. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀
Scan over the company bios and about sections across the platforms you are on.
Are they up to date? Are you clearly saying what you do? Do all links work?

𝟮. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲
Does everything reflect where the business is now?
Again, check for outdated content, broken links (often overlooked), and whether it’s clear how someone gets in touch with you.

𝟯. 𝗤𝟭 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
Review your content across socials, website and email over the last few months - what actually worked? What drove engagement and reach - and just as important…what didn’t land? Use this to shape your approach heading into Q2.

𝟰. 𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀, 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
Look ahead at the calendar for the next 6 months - do you have everything mapped out with content? Do you have a clear plan for how these will be promoted across organic social, email and paid ads?

𝟱. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆
Do you have a comprehensive strategy in place that reflects current business goals and upcoming activity? If not, this is where to start.
If you do, now is the time to review and refine based on Q1 learnings.

Taking time to review these 5 things will make a big difference to how the next quarter performs. And now is the perfect time…before you and your team get stuck into Q2 deal making! 📊
